Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Review
In this pandemic era, we have seen a massive rise in the popularity of tablets there are various reasons. These days everything switched to online mode. From school study to office work and it requires a digital device to connect to the internet which enables us to do our tasks Samsung used this as an opportunity by introducing it Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, a typical buyer looks for lasting battery life, good processing power, build quality, easy to use and a pleasing viewing experience, and, especially after Covid times, a good front camera for online classes and meetings. at cheap prices. So here we are going to review Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. Which is launched to meet these purposes.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 – Features
Display (A New 10.4-Inch Screen)
first one with a 10.4-inch TFT display. It has a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The colors look fine. The display is good enough for the price it is available. You will have an enjoyable viewing experience whether it includes video calls, online classes, or long binge-watching sessions. The colors on the screen turn out to be crisp and accurate.
Speakers
This tablet is pretty well suited for watching movies in general because it has four speakers – two on both shorter sides. I think that’s fantastic because one of my few complaints with its predecessor was that it had two speakers on the same side only. But this time, you can hear a stereo separation.
Hardware & Performance
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. Which comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. LTE 4G is an option too you can buy a Wi-Fi variant or an LTE supported Tab as you require. Both have the same performance & specifications.
I like that here Samsung offering 3GB of ram because in this price range tablets it’s a RARE thing. And I am disappointed about the storage invariant of 32GB it’s very insufficient for users like me who used tab for multipurpose. And another good thing to cover this deficit in storage Samsung provides external memory support up to 1TB which is a lot. This means you can use an external storage card of up to 1TB for storing your data on this Tab. On paper, the performance is fantastic.
Design & Built
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 looks quite nice with its slim, black screen bezels and its mostly metal body which is just 7mm thin. It weighs 476g which is okay too. You can get it in grey, silver, and gold.
Not everything is metal. They used plastic too.
When we are talking about design, On the sides, we get a power button, volume controls, a headphone jack, a microSD card slot and four speakers sit a USB C port. It’s a USB 2.0 connector which means you can attach lots of accessories including hard drives and SSDs, but external monitors are not supported.
Battery
When it comes to the battery life of the Galaxy Tab A7, we can easily say that it is the most impressive aspect of the device. Here we are getting almost 7000 mah battery
Battery capability varies on many factors we can’t judge it on only one thing, for testing purposes
It lasted 13 hours and 13 minutes on web surfing over Wi-Fi at 150 nits of brightness. Which was a very satisfying result for me.
Cameras
In this device, we get the 8-megapixel main rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Which captures okay photos and video nothing outstanding can be used for general-purpose tasks such as online meetings or video calling. I liked the front camera performance a little more than the back camera. In this tablet, it’s nice to see the webcam is placed in the middle and not on the sides when holding the tablet in landscape view. That’s great for video chats.
No Stylus Support: S Pen
The Galaxy Tab A7 does not support the Samsung S Pen. So, I can’t recommend it if you want to write down handwritten notes. Yes, you could get a generic stylus for capacitive screens which are fine for little children that just want to draw a bit for fun. But compared to an active pen, they’re terrible and if you’re an artist or want to write down notes, you’ll be disappointed.
This shouldn’t be a surprise because no tablet in this price range supports an active pen, I’m not blaming Samsung at all.
Security
As a security feature, you won’t get a fingerprint scanner, but we getting a facial recognition feature that is not commonly visible on such budget devices. it works fine in good light but not at all in the dark. And another by default PIN & PATTERN feature is available.

So, that’s the end of my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 review. Can we recommend it? Yes, of course, we can. we think the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is a fantastic value. Sure, it’s not perfect But for this price tag, it’s fine.
Instead of spending time and resources developing features, that most people won’t use, Samsung focused on what matters here putting the best speakers and perhaps the best display you can get in a tablet at this price point.
And really, that’s all you could want from a tablet like this. It needs to look good, it needs to sound good, and it needs to have the apps with the content you want.
