Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is one of the most ambitious, productivity-centric smartphones for Samsung. Where you can glimpse many new Features and technologies.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 aims to meet expectations on three fronts:

  • As a meaningful embellishment, of the phone-to-tablet foldable, the company has produced so far, as a platform on which Samsung can practice and test its latest technologies.
  • as a replica, of foldable innovation in general.
  • as an indicator of how far the technology has matured, all in a relatively short time.

You get a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC plus ample RAM and storage. The phone supports a total of 16 5G bands in India. For authentication, you can use face recognition with either of the selfie cameras (internal and external) or the fingerprint sensor that’s integrated into the power button.

Displays and audio of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

I like the fact that the frame and glass back panel have a matte finish, which contrasts well with the glossy hinge and outer display. As a foldable phone, it gives a decent and shiny look. they used a stronger aluminum material for the chassis And Gorilla Glass Victus display. you’ll be glad to know that the new Galaxy Z Fold is IPX8 water-resistant, which means it can withstand being in up to 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

Special features of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

we can say Galaxy Z Fold 3 Is a multitasking powerhouse. You can enable the Multi-Active Window feature. can run two apps side by side or run up to three apps at once. Samsung added a new Taskbar feature that lets us switch between apps on the fly; it is just situated there on the right side of the display, similar to the Windows taskbar. Samsung Labs can also force apps that are not optimized for foldable displays to work in Multi-Active Windows mode.

When you fold the Galaxy Z Fold 3 like a laptop, many apps support Flex mode( partially fold your device into an L shape), which puts the content up top and controls on the bottom portion of the display.

Samsung is also working closely with third-party developers to roll out more apps that work natively with the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

S Pen

there’s an issue with the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s S Pen support. While the stylus will work with the foldable phone there is no built-in slot for the pen. like there is with “Galaxy Note” models.

Another thing that disappointed me is that you can only use the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s main screen. The cover display doesn’t support input from the pen.

Cameras

Main Triple 12MP Wide 12MP Ultrawide 12MP Telephoto camera.

Front 10MP hole-punch cover display camera + 4Mp under-display camera takes decent selfies with nice colors reproduction.

Samsung decided that making a folding display with S Pen support wasn’t challenging enough, deciding to use it as the stage on which they’d also debut their first under-display camera on a phone.

Battery life and charging

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 packs a 4,400 mAh dual battery. Longevity can wildly depend on which display you favor. Samsung could be thought about improving its battery configuration for Galaxy Z Fold 3. I expected better than it at this price.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports up to 25W wired charging, 11W wireless charging. You can also use the back of the Z Fold 3 to reverse wireless charge other devices up to 4.5W.

NOTE: The Galaxy Z Fold 3 doesn’t include a charger you have to buy externally.
